Instrument Aided Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)
IASTM is a technique utilized to more aggressively and systematically break up excessive scar tissue formation that can cause tendinosis, sprains, strains, and can inhibits proper tissue healing. IASTM is used with stretching and strengthening to aid in the proper laying down of collagen fibers in order to strengthen and heal the tissue. When healing is limited help it along with IASTM and Limitless Physical Therapy.
Sports Medicine is a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, joints, and nerves as they relate to activity and exercise. Selective Functional Movement Assessment
The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is a tool used to assess global movement dysfunctions as they directly relate to movement compensation, inefficiency, overload, breakdown, and pain. It is a great system to help determine the true causes of tissue overload as it relates to the entire body. Don’t be limited by your rehab professional and make sure you get a full body approach.

Running Evaluation and Treatment
Running injuries include the low body, the spine, and sometimes the upper but and keep many people from running period, running more, or enjoying running at the level they should and it is very often related to running mechanics and lifestyle. At Limitless Physical Therapy, if you are a runner, we watch you run to fully evaluate your mechanics and develop a plan to get you back on the road, hills, track, any anywhere else you run want to run without limits.
Kinesiology Taping is the use of a stretchy often colored or designed taping that provides proprioceptive training, posturing, or neuromuscular reeducation for the purpose of improving body mechanics. There are many varieties of taping, including Kinesio Tape, KT Tape, Rock Tape, and others. The theory is that if you improve movement patterns and reinforce them with the assistance of taping, you can not only reduce pain but improved efficiency of movement. Also, by applying sensory input to the skin you potentially reduce pain input and improved confidence. Kinesiology has also been shown to improve circulation.
